Modern Slavery Policy

Sisk is family owned and has been in existence for over 160 years. Inspired by our founder John Sisk and his commitment to the communities in which he worked, we continue to have a positive impact by delivering on our purpose – Creating Places for Future Generations. We share this common purpose by living our Values of Care, Integrity and Excellence every day.

We deliver exemplar projects across a range of sectors to help create places for future generations – from transport to commercial, healthcare and life sciences, data centres and ICT. We deliver social value to the communities in which we build and are committed to Net Zero by 2030 as we follow our 2030 Sustainability Roadmap.

Our commitment to sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do, and our people, technology, and modern construction methods are critical enablers of this mission. In 2023, we launched our corporate strategy, Breaking New Ground, which incorporate all of these priorities as well as our net zero ambition. Our employees were actively involved in this process.

Sustainability and Supply Chain

At Sisk, we’re dedicated to building solid and long-lasting relationships with our supply chain partners that benefit everyone involved, including the communities in which we work. We continue this commitment addressing a wide range of environmental, social and governance topics that are important to our stakeholders and our industry. Reflecting our core values of Care, Integrity and Excellence, Sisk believes in cultivating relationships with all our supply chain partners and we strive to make sure our suppliers and sub-contractors feel part of the wider Sisk team.

Why we have become a Partner of the School

Building on the success of our partnership with the school in the UK, we wanted to bring our learnings and experience to Ireland, where Sisk was founded and is headquartered. We are 100% committed to a sustainable future for all and we see the School as an industry leading resource that will educate and upskill the entire industry.

Our supply chain partners play a key role in the success of all Sisk projects and overall business. We know that we can’t achieve our sustainability ambitions without their help and support, and we’re committed to fostering effective relationships built on mutual respect and collaboration. We believe we can learn a lot from each other and always remain open to new ideas and suggestions. Our vision is to be at the heart of change, and we strive to ensure that all supply chain partners feel like they are part of the wider Sisk team and helping us to deliver that change.

It is imperative that the School remains a free resource to everyone and as one of the largest contractors in Ireland we see it as our duty to support such initiatives in order to make it a real success.

“The Supply Chain School will give us free access to numerous resources covering the key topics within Sustainability. These resources will be used to upskill our own people as well as our Supply Chain Partners. Making a real difference will require our Supply Chain Partners to work with us to achieve our Sustainability targets. Without this engagement, it will not be achieved therefore having a resource like the School to share with our Supply Chain Partners will be a real game changer.”
