Sustainability and Supply Chain

Enterprise Ireland is on a mission to accelerate the sustainable growth of Irish business and is committed to supporting clients to trade sustainably by strengthening their environmental, social, and governance credentials. Organisations now need to develop a sustainability plan, covering everything from resource efficiency to supply chain, to adapt to this ambition to transition to a low-carbon, circular economy.

Enterprise Ireland’s Green Transition Fund is designed to support companies to prepare for a low-carbon, and more sustainable future. Enterprise Ireland is helping the construction and housing industry respond to its sustainability needs. Companies can now access funding for advisory support to develop an initial sustainability, decarbonisation or circular economy/biodiversity action plan and to fund access to expert advice for introducing best practice systems and reduce costs and resources. Companies looking to develop EPDs or carry out the Life Cycle Assessment study can access funding through the climate planning fund for business. Companies can access training funding to build environmental management capabilities for developing and implementing a robust, evidence-based sustainability strategy aligned with international ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
