Leaders in Resource Recovery
Enva is a leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions with over 2,000 employees and 42 licensed facilities across the UK and Ireland. With sustainability at the forefront of our proposition, we recover a broad range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for re-use in manufacturing and energy conversion. We also provide a complete portfolio of industrial, water and wastewater services.
Enva began operations in Ireland in 1973 and expanded over the last 50 years into one of Ireland’s leading waste management companies. We employ approximately 500 people at 15 locations across the island of Ireland. Our focus is on helping clients to run clean, safe and compliant operations while minimising their environmental impact. We do that by aligning everything required to deliver an outstanding, tailored service – a highly capable team with deep technical knowledge, multiple licensed facilities, an extensive fleet and advanced equipment and crucially the capability to successfully recover the waste resources we collect.
An extensive network of licensed facilities underpins our capability to deliver comprehensive, dependable, advanced waste and water management solutions.
Our Approach to Sustainability
Protecting and recovering the world’s finite resources
Enva is uniquely positioned to protect and recover the world’s finite resources and mitigate the risk to society associated with their depletion whilst delivering value for our customers and communities. As part of this, Enva supports and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals.
At our core, Enva’s circular products and services help to protect and preserve the worlds finite resources, supporting Responsible Consumption and Production (Goal 12).
We achieve this through partnerships with customers to innovate the critical infrastructure we manage (Goals 17 & 9).
The outcome of this focus is that Enva delivers action on the climate crisis (Goal 13), improves the sustainability, health and well-being of communities (Goal 11 & 3), provides cleaner water (Goal 6) and improves life on land and sea (Goal 14 & 15).
Core to a sustainable ecosystem
Enva sets targets and tracks progress against four main areas to help deliver value to our customers and stakeholders. These are Sustainable Solutions, Circularity, Communities and Decarbonisation. We take practical steps towards achieving these goals, guided by continuous improvement, reporting and partnering.
